On the 30th of July we officially celebrated the launch of Swim by Alba! Held at Farm Girl Chelsea, our guests were treated to a delicious breakfast of avocado + toast, granola + yoghurt, pastries and more. We displayed pieces from our limited collection ‘Drop One’ and a preview of our Tweed collection and a new style dropping soon!

Our founder Albana gave a short talk on the brand, how it started, its values and where the inspiration for each style comes from:

“I used to want to buy swimwear online and see these super gorgeous, size 6 women with incredible bodies and think to myself, ‘I can never look this good’. So I wanted to make sure that women from all over the world could go on our website or Instagram, scroll through photos and find a body shape that resembles theirs.”

“I design each style myself in our London studio and I take inspiration from people in my life and what would be their go-to style. The bandeau is named Nita after my sister, who wears the style on every holiday. In time, I hope to have a variety of styles to suit women all over the world who are different shapes and sizes.”

The event was a perfect chance to mingle with our guests who included industry professionals with backgrounds in design, production, styling and we were also joined by two London based, female-owned PR companies; Public Ambition and Ninteen94.

We want to thank everyone for coming, and give a big thank you to Farm Girl for hosting our event and our sponsor Eden Mill Gin who provided us with delicious miniature gin bottles in a variety of flavours.
