Your mental health is a priority ♥️

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and this years theme is kindness. With so many of us feeling isolated during lockdown, being kind to one another is more important now than ever before. Did you know that being kind can significantly improve our physical and emotional wellbeing - whether we are giving or receiving it.

Coronavirus is affecting everyones lives, those of us already living with mental health problems are facing extra challenges. There is a lot that feels uncertain right now, like what the world will look like in a few weeks, months or even a years time. It can feel overwhelming and scary and a lot of it is out of our control, why not focus on what you can control.

It’s a great time to practice self-care, be kind to yourself, pay attention to your body, unplug from your phone, go for a walk, it’s okay to take a break and enjoy a hot bath!

You are wanted, needed, loved and so important, why not check in on your loved ones, drop them a cute message or ft call your girlfriends and create a strong support system around you.

Please remember there is no shame in asking for help, we have listed a few helplines for anyone who may be in need to talk to a professional.
